Bourn identity

michael-bourn-baseball-headshot-photo[1]When Michael Bourn is healthy, the Cleveland Indians are surely a different team. In his last ten games, Bourn is batting .359 (14-39) with one home run and five RBIs. He has scored eight runs. In the three games that the Indians were swept by the Chicago White Sox, he was 2-12. In the first five games, of the six game home stand, Bourn is .421 (8-19) with five runs scored. He had the game-winning walk-off homer on Sunday and a game winning two-run double in Tuesday’s 5-3 victory over Boston Red Sox.
With Bourn at the helm, the Indians have climbed out the American League Central cellar and they are now in third place at 29-30, four and a half games behind Detroit.
Bourn is by far the best lead-off man in the 2014 season.
