Will the Cleveland Cavs stay with the young-legs of Andrew Wiggins or should they trade for Kevin Love?
Andrew Wiggins is showing in the NBA Summer League that he is worth the number one overall pick, but is it worth it to trade for Kevin Love?
Love, 25-year-old, averaged last season with 26.1 points a game and 12.5 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-10 forward is one of the top two power-forward in the NBA. For his career, he is averaging 19.2 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Wiggins, 6-foot-8, 19, style is compared to Dwayne Wade. He is quick, his basketball IQ is one of the best as a rookie. However, is he worth a trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Here is the Cleveland Cavs line-up now. In the backcourt, Kyrie Irving and Wiggins; LeBron James and Tristian Thompson the forwards; and Anderson Varejao at the center. With the trade, Irving and Dion Waiters, James, Love and Varejao or Thompson. I think it is a wash just to keep Wiggins. Yes, Love is a great power-forward that would give Cavs head coach David Blatt great options. However, will he re-sign next season. He said he would. I think Cavs GM David Griffin wants a definite yes.
