Cleveland Indians, one of the hottest team in the last two weeks, will be taking on Kansas City Royals, a team having problems in the last two weeks.
The Indians will send one of the hottest pitcher in May, Corey Kluber to the hill.
The Tribe are 10-2 in the last 12 games, but because the American League Central Division is so hot right now, their 25-26 record is the fourth best in the division. They still are 5 1/2 games behind front running Minnesota Twins.
Kluber, in the month of May, was 3-2 with a 2.95 ERA and 60 strikeouts. He is 3-0 in his last four starts with 50 punch outs. Kluber will be opposing lefty Jason Varges (3-2, 5.16) who is 2-0 against the Indians this year. Varges coming off an injury, has been limited in innings before being put on DL for left flexor strain.
The Indians beat the Royals 2-1, yesterday.
