Slumping Indians battles Rays

By Bryant Kizer

The month of June has not been good for Cleveland. The Cavs did not win the NBA title and the Indians are in a major slump.

The slump continued on Sunday as the Indians were swept in a double-header against hosting Baltimore. The Tribe did not score any runs in the two games losing 4-0 and 8-0. The Indians dropped to 33-41 and will face one of the best AL East teams the Tampa Bay Rays (42-35).

The Indians are last in the MLB in runs in the month of June with 66 in 24 games. That is an average of 2.75 runs a game. You better have a good pitching staff with those numbers. The Indians are last in the AL in homers with 14.The Indians are 9-15 in June.
