The Cleveland Indians bounced back with a 7-1 victory over Tampa Bay at St. Pete.
With rookie Cody Anderson on the mound and their bats pounded out 13 hits and seven runs, the Indians had their best offensive show in about two weeks.
Anderson on his second start of the season had a perfect game going into the seventh and he earned his first MLB victory.
Anderson pitched eight innings giving up two hits and striking out two. Former Indian Grady Sizemore ended the perfect bid with a homerun with one out in the seventh.
Jason Kipnis, Yan Gomes and Michael Brantley each has three hits. Gomes hit his third homer in the eighth. Indians are now 10-15 in the month of June and 34-41 overall.
