Shaker Heights topple Euclid 75-72

Shaker Heights Red Raiders fought off a huge Euclid Panthers comeback and won q/75-72. The Red Raiders had leads of 9-1, and 46-36 but the Panthers kept clawing back. The Red Raiders were led by senior guard Amani Redus with 25 points, but he had 19 in the first half.

The Panthers got 32 from senior Quinton Dove.

With 15 seconds left in the fourth and the Red Raiders (5-5) leading 72-67, Redus got into a shoving match with Dove after a foul. Redus was giving a technical foul. However, Redus kept on jawing and he was given the heave-hove. So Dove got six free throws, he would sink five to tie the game at 72.

The Panthers would receive a bench technical foul because a player left the area. Senior Jeramine Burge hit one of the two, to give the Red Raiders a 73-72 advantage. Junior Jame Williams would sink two more free throws.

Senior Aaron Berry had 14 points for the Panthers (2-8).
