The Warrensville Tigers see-saw regular season is about to come to an end, whoever, the Tigers can turn it on in the playoffs. The Tigers are 2-7 in the Lake Erie League, but they are 7-3 outside. The Tigers have victories over No. 2 Benedictine, Lutheran East and Elyria Catholic. Brandon Peters and Yavari Hall are the Tigers’ one-two punch for head coach Brian Swift. Peters have scored in double-digits all games this season and he has scored 30 points or more twice. Hall, who missed some games because of injuries, he also has scored double-digits in all of his games played this season. The Tigers will have to contend with Player-of-the-Year candidate Markell Johnson. Johnson is coming off of his 49-point performance against Glenville. The Golden Scarabs’ Coach-of-the-Year candidate Brett Moore, must find someone else to score as his team head into sectional playoffs.
