Indians break for Philly

After the Cleveland Indians won the final game of the three-game series with the Minnesota Twins, it is now off to “The City of Brotherly Love” Philadelphia to take on the Phillies for a three-game weekend series.

The Indians barley escape a three-game sweep with the Twins. The Twins were up front 3-0 after the first inning. But the Tribe managed to get two in the third and they took the lead at 6-3 with four in the fifth.

The Twins added tallies in the fifth and the sixth and trailed 6-5.

The Indians bullpen managed to pitch three scoreless innings to get the victory.

The Indians are 10-9 and they are in third place in the American League Central.

The Phillies just completed at three-game sweep over the National Division East leading Washington Nationals.

The Phillies are 12-10 and in third place.
