Cleveland State Lady Vikings take on Notre Dame. Not the Fighting Irish, the top-ranked team in the country, the Fighting Falcons of South Euclid, Ohio.
The Vikings coming off of a 66-56 victory over hosting Eastern Illinois are on their second two-game winning streak of the season.
The Vikings have split their eight games, but they are 3-1 in their last four games.
Ashanti Abshaw leads the team with nearly 17 points a game. The sophomore from Cleveland Heights had 18 points in their victory over Eastern Illinois and had a 30-point outing against Richmond. She is averaging 22 points in the last three contest.
The Vikings will have two road games coming up. They will take on Bucknell on Dec. 18 and Bowling Green on Dec. 21. The Vikings will return to the Wolstein Center on New Year’s Eve as they battle their first Horizon League opponent Youngstown State.
